O joy... Sanjaya... Not him. Anyway, I'm new to this site but I agrees with you guyses. I hope Blake wins. He's a good proformer and if he wins American Idol will look weirder than ever. Jordin, is, undeniably, a better singer. Burn in hell Simon. Bad, Sanjaya, bad!

How is everything that applies to Sanjaya a VFTW victory? Also, Sanjaya said that it wouldn't have made a difference whether VFTW voted for him or not because those people would have only voted like once or twice.

Because if Sanjaya was tossed in the first eliminations, he'd just be another statistic. But VFTW and Howard Stern brought him the kind of fame Paula hasn't seen since sometime in the mid 80's. Ergo, any reference to Sanjaya is a result of his fame as AI's Entertainer of the Year, which is a result of VFTW et al, which means any reference to Sanjaya is a VFTW victory over Simon and the AI producers, who will be stuck having to try and foist Blake or Jordin on an apathetic audience. And for God's sake, man - when have you EVER gotten the straight story from a MEDIA outlet? That's like expecting Fox News to be honest and objective or something. Whether Sanjaya knows how much VFTW helped him or not is something no one except the guys taking the phone votes can say (and probably not even them) - but he really can't come out and SAY it helped without making himself look stupid. And as he's proven so far, Sanjaya may be a hair-challenged spaz with a mediocre singing voice, but he's smart enough to know how to use that to entertain people, and to run with his break and parlay it into something bordering on pop iconicism (from American Idol to American Icon, yeek!). Just like Madonna, who started out singing like shit and making total crap pop music - her only talent was being smart enough to market the hell out of herself. Well, Madonna, meet your match in Sanjaya - and no using that fake British accent when you're introduced. :P
