This song was written so obviously for a female performer and is structured awfully. Neither of them deserve to have to release that as their first single.

Just to hear a beatboxed version of any sappy "uplifting" song that any Idol 'winner' has to sing as their first single, would make my day. I would buy that crap just to annoy the cats that lurk in my garden to stalk the birds that come for breakfast every day. Imagine the fear those animals would feel, they'd leave scorch marks from running away so fast! Go Hobbit, beat that pimped Wookie right-wing cow! http://smartiesplace.blogspot.com

I feel really bad for Blake. He really got screwed. The pimped one gets a song that sounds like it was written for her, and there's nothing he can really do with it. I thought they'd pick two songs, one for him and one for her. That way he might have a chance. If anyone doubts that TPTB want Jordin to win now, they must not have paid attention.

I agree on the fact that "This is my Now" is more of a Jordin song. Not fair at all. Idol sucks a big fat one.

When Simon does the least amount of pimping out of anyone involved with the show you know things are bad. I hope Blake kicks her Wookie ass.

"EVERYONES A WINNER!" ugh including amazon woman who's hair gets stuck on her lipgloss while shes singing. 'better than the original'.. uhh compare martina mcbride with jordin. i dont even like country music, but i know jordin doesnt even compare with martina. the only part of this show that made me get excited was SANJAYA!

Dial your fingers off, people! Because Blake HATES "This Is My Now" (with good reason, it sucks ass). And the producers and record label would cry if Blake had to release that song. Blake would purposely put out a subpar version because he obviously hates it. And this would be very funny. So he MUST win. Will he? It's a tough road ahead, so make sure to vote as much as you can. 1-866-IDOLS-01, 1-866-IDOLS-03, and 1-866-IDOLS-05. You can dial any number you want, find the least busy number and plug away, or text VOTE to 5701. Blake must win, because Chris Richardson won't get any if he doesn't. Go Blake! (Though really, Jordin's performance was terrible too. Seriously, how awful was that?)
