The only good song named "Surrender" was done by Cheap Trick.

Go rent the first one - it's definitely worthwhile, in fact pretty damned good. But the series goes downhill after that.

I think "How Many Words" definitely has strong potential, given the fact that it's already charting on iTunes with no offical radio airplay. "Know My Name" might do well, especially with the Lupe Fiasco affiliation. I like some of the electro pop-rock tunes as well.

I actually like "She's Makin' Me Lose It", LOL. "What'cha Got 2 Lose" is the one I like less, although when I heard it live on some video clips it didn't seem as annoying as on the CD. My least favorite song has to be "I Got U", the last track - too cheesy boyband for my taste :P. I have no fucking clue why there's three ballads in a row at the end, and apparently Blake didn't want 3 either. That damn Clive...

I confess I'm actually enjoying this album. With the exception of the four most syrupy ballads, it's a lot of fun.

I also really like that Blake is such a free spirit. He posts videos of himself shitting, manhandling Gina's boobs, making trouble on the Idol tour dressed as a giant poptart....between these activities and his overall style, he definitely doesn't fit the Idol mold.

For these two reasons I'm rooting for him to be the biggest Idol seller ever. To hell with convention!

Yeah, I don't get why so many people at VFTW hate Blake. He's strange and does things that we'd like if anyone else did them. Hypocrites. (insert laughing blue fucker here).
