Well... Syesha did do other commercials, including KFC, Winn Dixie and a bunch of other ones. Also, that commercial was on You Tube since June so it may just be a coincidence. She was working as an actor in Miami...

Let's get these has beens/failures off this damn show! One of my friends auditioned in Philly and she's AMAZING some teenage tool who was supposed to be a "producer" wouldn't let her audition for Simon etc. After all those hours in line.....she had to turn around and drive 4 hours home. WTF! I got some unofficial info that says some of these acts were approached thru agents, gigs..etc.. looking for marketable talent since the last 3 outta six winners didn't do much of nothing. There's buzz that the blonde mormon chick will get alot of votes like Marie Osmond in Dancing SHE SUCKS BALLS....Cancel this shit already

She's not singing in the commercial. She's an actress with the looks of a model. There is not a recording contract with her. The idol rules basically state that you can not currently be in a recording contract. If Britney Spears suddenly lost her current contract, she could be on the show also. There are no rules concerning previous contracts.
