Kelly is talented vocally..( tho' Kelly isn't doing so great right now to say the least) and Carrie Underwood has talent.

All the others WINNERS were poor to mediocre to say the least.

On a side note...

**There was talk that even Kelly had "connections" before she won season ONE of AI,that she had been in talk w/ labels,had a manager, etc.

Wonder if Carrie Underwood is a true "rags to riches" story, or if a leak will get out that SHE had some kind of connections to the biz PRIOR to AI.

I love this site!!!! So glad I found it and all because of the AP story on David Hernandez. We could take the word 'worst" and give it a different meaning. He was living the worst life. Stripping in seedy bars for perverted men, all the while he has all this talent, but can't show it. What a story it would be. Gay Male Stripper to American Idol Winner in less than a year. Isn't this what America is really all about. The chance to turn your life around and become successful. It's the American Dream! David Hernandez is getting my vote for now on.
