3 people I can't stand on AI: 1. Hernandez because he's a drag queen with a (not so) hidden agenda. He may seem like shallow, bland, robotic idol clone but inside, he could be a real skank. 2. Chikezie and his pathetic little failed attempt at getting some attention (remember his little orange and grey snap at Simon? Worthless) 3. Kady Malloy cause she's just damn bitchy. I heard from someone who was at the show last Thursday night caught Malloy talking shits about Archuleta. Meow, someone's jealous. Other than that, it'd be fun to see Luke, Carly, David C to get the boot. We don't need another pimp or plant or pathetic punk slash daughtry wanabe in the competition. Geeze, has this world gone mad?

Unless I've missed something in the reporting, it may be jumping to conclusions that David H is gay. A decent percentage of male strippers in gay bars are straight, or somewhere along the sliding scale of sexuality. It's an easy way for straight guys to make a lot of money, if they're open to the situation. I'm not saying David H is or isn't gay... I just wonder if the presumption of male stripper/gay bar = gay David H is totally valid.

I hadn't seen that Stephen King quote before, it's interesting. But ya know... Some of us are a bit less binary in our appreciation of the scope of American popular culture. There are those of us who like our schmaltz with an extra helping of cheese just as much as we like the lean authenticity of an Arcade Fire or an Andrew Bird. Personally, I find just as much entertainment value in the idealistic performances of David Archuleta as I do in the snarky iconoclasm of VFTW.

It's not his sexual orientation that's so hateful. It's his being fake and bitch-like.

Good article, and props to them for giving you credit Dave. I clicked on the Dick's link, and it is down right now, though they do have a note up "...If you are enterested (in being a stripper)..." I guess you do not have to know how to spell to work in the IT department. To the person who stated that you did not have to be gay to work in a gay strip club, you are absolutely right. However, as this site have had several confirmations that he worked there that turned out to be true, it is a pretty safe assumptions that the letters stating that he had a boyfriend are also true.
