I'm not sure being gainfully employed as a stripper can be characterized as part of an individual's a 'personal life' (by which I assume you really mean 'private life,' since the entirety of a person's life is personal - but I digress) - if you're of age, a strip club is a pretty public place. Contestants should know that their past/habits/pictures can (and will, thanks VFTW!) come back to bite them.

So let me start out by saying Dave Hernandez is gross. As in, when I look at him, even before knowing he's a gay stripper, I was slightly tempted to vomit all over myself. Now that I know this? I actually DID vomit all over myself, AND the guy sitting next to me. Now on to the important part - I've never really understood the whole VFTW thing. I mean, of course I've heard about it but I never took the time to figure out WHY there were people encouraging the "rejects" to move forward. But I, always a conspirator, am IMPRESSED with the level of genius this plan has achieved! All the producers definitely advance the dorks and morons so the audience gets a kick out of it, not because they're good. So let's give them a taste of their own medicine! If they want us to endure the horrendousness that is AI7 (and 1-6) contestants, they'll only be spiting themselves. I absolutely applaud your efforts and if you'd ever like to hire me, I do freelance life-ruining. Especially for America's top execs (that is, overpaid top execs). Thanks for bringing the ONLY reality to American Idol!

You're entitled to the same pro bono pay scale as the rest of us. And remember, wage is dependent on dancer income.

1. When did he "lie" and "pretend that he was straight"?

2. Straight guys work at all-male establishments all the time. The tips are a lot better. The automatic presumption that he is gay is simply uneducated and irresponsible "journalism".

3. It's sad state of affairs that an old employer would try to step on a former employee once obtaining some notoriety in the hope of getting some "shine" off of his name. But then again, stepping on people is sort of the point of VFTW in the first place.
