Worst Performance: 'Hit Em Up Style'
Why We Loved Her (But Everyone Else Hated Her): Janay Castine got almost zero camera time leading up to her semifinal performances, so most people saw her as fodder. VFTW certainly wasn't excited about her until she made her way onto the stage like a shaky robot during the first semifinal week and busted out Jessica Simpson's "I Wanna Love You Forever".

After week one, Vote for the Worst obviously had to support Janay. But we had no idea what riches she'd give us. Her week 2 performance of "Hit Em Upi Style" became an instant VFTW classic. Picking the song was a hilarious choice already. Adding Mikalah and Paula's names in was a genius move. And pointing at the camera and looking like she was watching a scary movie just made the performance even better. Simon calls her a doll programmed to be a pop star and criticized her experience. Janay gave the patented VFTW attitude back to Simon and said she'd prove him wrong.

Fantastically enough, Janay lasted yet ANOTHER week and performed "Dreaming of You" before the cane came out on stage to take her away.

Janay will always be remembered for her odd performign style and for fighting the odds and making it through 3 weeks of awesome performances. She helped make season 4 a big one for VFTW and we'll never forget her.
