The toll of Seacrest's coke habit is really starting to show. I truly think he's going to lose his shit and drop a cuss, or hit Simon, or just walk out, before this season is over. I can't WAIT.

MSNBC has three Idol articles. One cites VFTW in a discussion of whether reality show voting is rigged and says we don't have much impact (I beg to differ especially this year with VFTW keeping Timmeh alive until the tweens could see his awesomeness). The other two are about Ryan being a douche. A key point to keep in mind is that, despite how he appears, Ryan is a professional and would not be doing these douchebag things totally on his own. The most likely culprit is the producers; the implication is that they want the coveted teen demographic and are setting up Ryan to be edgy to appeal to that age group. The experts in the articles allow as how Ryan may not be executing that intent well since he is a douchebag; but, if Ryan interacted with Crystal, he thought he was acting on the behalf of TPTB.

Personally, I'd just like to see Crystal punch that little midget square in the jaw. Whether any of this BS is true, or they're working an angle, since Idols ratings are clearly going down the shitter, and they want people to tune into see the "drama unfold" I think it would be pretty epic if that little barefoot granola eating hippie just hit him. However, Ryan, if you're reading this.. please keep doing rails off a male hookers ass before the show, because... really, you're about the only thing (despite timmeh of course) keeping me awake through the boring karaoke contest that has commenced this season.

NOT surprised at all. Seacrest comes off as someone who would do anything to get to the top. And I never thought he would be the one taking the Paula role this season. Go figure.
