It's Time for a Second Save - VFTW Endorses Michael Lynche

So now that we're in the top 5, the VFTW pick has come down to Michael Lynche and Aaron Kelly. The choice went back and forth, but after some thought, it's obvious who we should help save: Michael. He's arrogant, he's cheesy, and he's only around because he's riding a wave of sympathy from almost being eliminated. Most people would've loved to have seen home go home in 9th place like he was supposed to, so if he even lasts one more week, fans won't be too happy. People seem to really hate this guy, which just means he's perfect to plaster up on our site. The hate for Aaron isn't even half as big, so that's no fun just yet. And whereas Aaron is trying to improve, Mike just does the same thing every week without listening to the judges at all.

Yes, we know Michael is probably going home next. But Vote for the Worst always votes for the contestant that we think would be awesome to keep around despite what's probably going to happen. If Mike does go home next? Well, no one really likes him so we won't care. If Mike stays? VFTW Victory! Let's see if the guy who should've gone home weeks ago can make the top 4. It doesn't even matter if he sings well or not, this guy doesn't belong in the competition any longer and most people won't like him either way. He is only there because of a ratings stunt twist. So, Idol, you want to save Mike? Now, so do we!

But remember, let's not do the complacent voting thing like so many people did with Siobhan. Mike clearly needs votes and we need to give them to him. 300 pound personal trainer for the win!

Randy is fat

All the guys are boring, but Fat Mike does have the best photochops, so I think it is a good call.

Good choice. Aaron sucks but remember he was the winner of the "Idol Experience" fraud in Orlando and A.I. loves to get as much PR for that crapfest as possible and they are drooling at the possibility that the runt could go from Idol Experience winner to American Idol winner.

I'd rather go with Big Mike, a weightlifter who dared to tell Simon "Spider-man is a hero."

Everybody now must vote for the big dude the same effort that they gave for Timmah!

He is annoying as hell. Let's use him to take down Casey and Lee.

Truthfully, an awful group to choose from. Though I actually personally love Bowersox and she really does things her way, she's annoited. The 4 guys are very boring but Idol wants Big Mike to continue. They will push for Aaron to leave this week (Simon: "IF you make records)... so ironically, hi week at least, VFTW is actually helping the Idol agenda. A season is lame when VFTW has to choose someone like Big Mike out of 5 possibles canidates.

Go Mike! We love you, you arrogant, cheesy bastard!!! Keep pissing AI fans off by staying in this competition longer than you were supposed to!!

If we could get Casey or Lee or even Aaron eliminated before him, it would be gold and would anger even more AI fans!

Anyone else find it hilarious that this fat ass is a personal trainer??

Hey hey hey!! Can't stand Fat Albert, but seeing him take on Frank Sinatra next week has trainwreck written all over it.
