I'm SO glad Aaron is gone...Goat For the Worst wins this round, but the Goat will probably bring back the boring guitar stuff next week, so we'll have to work extra hard to save his lame ass.

and Mike is safe too and he has a better chance of reeking havoc on the oh so predetermined Lee vs. Crystal finale than Aaron anyways. So, 1 of our 4 sausages leaves tonight. I guess people don't like em small.

That was pretty fucking hilarious. Aaron wasn't great, but we're forgetting that he's sixteen here, and a prebuscent sixteen year old has better pipes than Casey... VOTE FOR THE GOAT!!  P.S. Gaga was ORGASMIC.

Even though we pretty much assumed that Crystal and Lee would be safe, due to the obvious pimping of both contestants, I think folks probably thought Big Mike or Casey would be the one to go home. Aaron Kelley has consistently been near the top on Dial Idol, unless that website is completely inaccurate....which seems to be the case. Plus, Aaron seemed to have a huge following. I'm glad Casey stayed, but here's my theory. My husband and I both think that once it reaches the Top 5, that the votes may be slightly rigged. They probably think that the current Top 4 are more marketable than Aaron, who would obviously appeal to the tweens. They could market Lee to the David Cook or Rock crowd and market Crystal to almost anyone due to her unique folksy sound. They can market Big Mike to the R & B listeners and market Casey to the country and Southern Rock folks. The last four can be marketed to more than one demographic. Aaron is only marketable to the tweens right now. Even with Casey's "goat vibrato", I still think he's far more marketable than Lee. If Casey gets into the country market and refuses to perform Kara's songs, he'll probably do pretty well. Good grief, I hope they all refuse to play Kara's music....

I bet that Casey was probably bottom two and not Mike and they just did it that way to build "tension", since most people just assumed that Casey would be going home tonight. Seeing him paired with Crystal would have freaked out her voters and then sticking Mike with Aaron even though he was not bottom two would have freaked out his voters too after they were announced as the bottom two. They must really see Lee as totally safe til the finals if they did not try to freak out his voters at all.

How exactly were those results eyebrow raising? Aaron Kelly went home. No one liked him, so why is anyone surprised? He was terrible. But Casey James is safe, a true Goat for the Worst Victory! Everyone and their mother thought Casey was a gonner tonight, but he stuck around and wasn't even in the bottom 2. Even after that God awful performance of "Blue Skies". But now that the goat has made it to the top 4, it's time to stop kidding around and we need to kick it up a notch. Casey James made it another week, and it's all thanks to us.
