Julissa Veloz Continues to Climb the Billboard Dance Charts

Julissa Veloz's single "Take Control" was already doing extremely well, but now it's doing even better. This week it's #12 on the Billboard How Dance Song, Club Play chart. And we found out she's going to be #10 next week. Awesome! She's sharing the charts with people like Rihanna, Beyonce, and the Black Eyed Peas who all have major labels pushing their songs. That's a real accomplishment for someone on a smaller label. Who knew Julissa would go from one of our favorite auditions to someone climbing the charts week by week? See, Vote for the Worst is not a curse, it's a blessing!

Just shows how the judges overlook talent in the auditions. There are still people from this season who stick in my mind... during Hollywood week they got sent home for still being great. It made no sense.

Sounds like she never even made it to Hollywood week. Figures.

She wore the tiara at her first audition. I had high hopes for her early on and I'm very pleased she is kicking ass on the charts. I hope a major label picks her up so she can continue to put it right in Idol's face!!

I usually don't like dance music, but this song gets stuck in my head every time I hear it. Good for her.

I don't remember her, but I did watch her audition on the link where she sang the Whitney Song. It sounds as though she was on the same season that Tatiana was on, and Tatiana sang alot of Whitney songs. I would have to say by just listening to that performance, Tatiana is a much better singer.
