I read 'Someone's comment about 5 times, and I still don't completely understand it.

And I love how BE was talking about how everyone here is a homophobic, whereas some homophobe last time was talking about how we're racist, but say nothing about gays. These two should really get together.

Oh, good, we got the "Let's see if you can do better" argument.

Personally, I know that I had voice lessons for five years in college and did open mike nights for years. I taught voice as a volunteer for two years. I can't audition due to age limits. You'll just have to trust that I CAN do better than this group, except for AI's age discrimination.

A side effect of all the training is that I can't listen to bad notes without cringing. Listening to this season is TORTURE. I can't even listen to two notes of a FugLee performance without getting neck cramps, yet the judges audition to suck him off after every performance. Aaron is so off-key half the time that I'd rather fill my ears with fertilizer than continue. Bizmarkie is in tune more often than Katie. Mike sings with his tone focused at the back of his throat, killing his sound, and also stays under pitch. Siobhan sounds like recordings of fox calls that my father uses when hunting. Crystal is the only one left who is tolerable. Don't even get me started on Goat Boy.

Send some more letters, ignorant boobs. I'll print them out and let the dog toilet train on them.

Lord. This mailbag is slightly better that last time. Though some of these kids need to work on expressing their hate and rage.

Two comments, and both are meant sincerely, not sarcastically.

1. It's a television show. These people seem to think that if someone is kicked off, he or she is immediately disembowled and hung in the market square to warn others of the perils of failure. It's long been established that some artists do well regardless of where they end up ranking on American Idol. And coming in first place (cough Taylor Hicks cough) doesn't guarantee a career. Aaron will most probably go on to have a future. It might be in singing, it might not be, but the fact that he was on American Idol in the first place gives him a hell of a lot more opportunities than anyone else his age.

2. I am gay and make no apologies for it. I also do not like Adam Lambert. I don't hate him as some on this site do, but I can't hear "Whatta Ya Want From Me" on the radio without being surprised every time that the song sounds just as bad as I remembered - it's never grown on me. I voted for Kris Allen to win, and when my best friend put five CDs on her Christmas wish list, I actually bought four of them (the exception being Adam's). So let me assure everyone who might read this, I could give a shit whether Adam likes pussy, cock, or gender-neutral strawberries. Disliking the man doesn't make you a homophobe, it just means you don't care for his overly theatrical type of music. Seriously, I've heard "Whatta Ya Want From Me" at least 15 times now, and it just sounds worse each time. And I'm a Pink fan!

BE: Many of our posters (including the site creator are homosexual. I myself am bisexual. I have not noticed any overtly homophobic comments except from trolls. The only thing that I did get upset about were the slightly racist comments towards former contestant, John Park (I'm half Asian as well). Even then, and I didn't even have to notify anyone about how I felt, the mods and admins told people to knock it off. And guess what: they did! So check your facts first, douchenozzle.
