No-actually, I always thought it was Lyndsey Cardinale she was extremely bad!

How could the judges have passed on such much better talent like Scooter Girl or Norman Gentile to put this horrid mistake on the show! Actually, if Tyler Grady had made the Top 12 this year he would have been the worst ever, even a little worse than Lyndsey! PS the worst 1. Lyndsey Cardinale 2. Kris Allen-I still talk to people who believe he couldn't sing worth a damn-he's awful!

After watching the YouTube clips of Sanjaya, I have a yearning to re-watch the entire season, just to put it back into perspective. it was great watching him outlast other better "talented" contestants week to week.

I urge anyone who missed this season to do some torrent searching. You will not be sorry.

Sanjaya was a better performer than Jordin. Sure he sucked as a singer, but I'd rather see someone laugh and smile through a song than cry like a fuckin emo drama baby.

Yep, people hated him, but I'll bet my left nut everyone tuned in for him.

I sure didn't give a rats ass about Sparks.... or the faggy beat box kid.

Wait a minute Sanjaya had the best hair--that should count for something.

Hey, wait up. I just watched the videos... the AI performances are terrible, but I thought the audition was really good. What happened to that voice? Were they just well selected lines from a single song, or did the AI sabotage-machine get him?

What do I know? I also liked Taylor Grady, and I love Jason Castro (then and now).

They knew that he was the season's "star". Why else was he the only "cast off" to get a solo song in the finale?

after listening to Sanjaya again tonight I will still say the boy did not go crazy out of tune like Lee this year....and some other "better" singers....he was on a season that celebrated the big voices and he just was out of place...but I'd put him up with Kris Allen, Jason Castro or Tim Urban....smaller voiced singers but mostly dead on with pitch.

He is STILL my papaya!

I almost forgot how holy Sanjaya is.... thanks for the best 24+ minutes of this season. So after basking in this glory, I turn on the TV and behold -- Sanjaya is on Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader !! Complete with PonyFauxHawk and his most awesome entertaining antics. I'm in love again!

While I totally understand why Sanjaya is the "worst" by VFTW standards, I've never understood why America viewed him as the worst. I mean, who did they prefer? Brandon Jones, one of the most boring Idol contestants ever? Stephanie Edwards, who is the best Fantasia impersonator ever, and therefore one of the worst singers? Chris Sligh, another borefest? Gina Glocksen or Haley Scarnato (I actually would understand someone preferring Haley. Growl...). NosPhilatu? That one douche Chris Richardson? Lakisha who did nothing but scream? Boring ol' Melinda? That other douche Blake Lewis? Jorbacca?

I mean seriously, I don't get who America would have preferred other than Haley, and only horny straight guys like me liked her.
