Oh, man. The growing look of horror on Paula's face when dead wife went for the falsetto while she was rocking out is priceless. It's all, "I'm digging it, I'm rocking out, oh fuck..."Laugh

Randy is fat

This list helps illustrate just how awful this season was. Danny Noriega's performance would have been top 3 material this year.

Great job...Sanjaya rules! I think all top 5 had gotten 10's from me for being so bad yet so good, and sooooo VFTW worthy! Clap

A few I'd like to have seen make top 20 would have been Mikalah Gordon, Alex Wagner-Trugman and David Radford...but whatever...all 40some of the original choices deserved their VFTW special status.

(I didn't see a link back to the original list of choices, from last week...which is HERE...for anyone that wants to revisit)

All such great moments VFTW Victory

I don't think anything will ever top "You Really Got Me" that was the greatest performance ever. The whole episode was made for VFTW Laugh

The thing that people always miss about Sanjaya singing "You Really Got Me"; his performance was EXACTLY what the song is about. It ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE A GOOD SONG. It is a song about a kid with a boner the size of a submarine for some chick, and nowhere to put it. IMO, he fukkin' nailed it. Great nasty ass song choice, great performance of it. It was the most 100% in your fucking face song in the entire history of American Idol. What a great choice for the #1 VFTW performance. I loved it, and thanks for keeping it alive.

I know, I know...I'll sound like a fantard...BUT..I really liked Camille Valesko. She had a really cool unique voice, but she had SERIOUS issues with her nerves. When she sang Yellow Brick Road on the vote off show (since she was kicked off that week), it sounded so much better, because she didn't have any reason to be nervous. I have actually gone on YouTube and watched the video from the vote off because I enjoyed it that much.

I hated that Jasmine girl though. For me that was the start of my lack in trust of the American voter. The Sanjaya's of the competition slipping through to top 10 spots on their entertainment value was one thing...but that lack of talent and personality making it to the top 3 was just a travesty.

My memory is that "Crying Girl" during Sanjaya's performance was a plant. She'd been in the rehearsal audience and the AI producers asked her and her mom to stay for the broadcast. So, not only a VFTW worthy performance by Sanjaya but also a VFTW worthy job by "Crying Girl." Oh, and that pouty look on Danny Noriega mouth: I'm told his anus has the same pouty look.
