Danny Gokey's new music video for "I Will Not Say Goodbye" deals with the death of a loved one. Wait a minute. Danny Gokey's wife DIED? Why has he never mentioned this before?

Please say goodbye, was my first thought, too. What a surprise he's singing in a church.

On the positive side, this will freshen up the selection for funeral songs.

Note to singers at funerals-- don't shout the chorus Danny-style... these lyrics could actually be sung with some feeling and tenderness for the dearly departed.
