We tried, but Airpocaylpse did not make it into the next round of America's Got Talent. Instead, the shitty kid singer Nathaniel made it. Well hey, maybe we can vote for him if all of our train wreck acts get kicked out. Thanks for voting! We knew it was incredibly unlikely for us to get a VFTW act into the top 3 vote getters out of 12, but hey, VFTW likes tough odds.
Otherwise, you'd have had something snarky to say about the "Rock of Ages" segment featuring everyone's favorite ex-Idol greaseball, Constantine Maroulis, and a special appearance by Dee Snider (who doesn't look old at ALL... ). This was trainwreck television at its finest...
...and even better was Nick Cannon *not* mentioning "American Idol", calling it "another big, big talent show" instead.
I have nothing to say about the acts themselves, as AGT voters have historically voted for backstories and flash rather than talent.
I love you, VFTW, but theres no way I'm watching AGT to help you guys vote. The show is just too painful. American Idol once a year is plenty. I watched part of an episode of AGT the other day, and they did a lame attempt at Susan Boyle 2.0 with a foreign guy. Then they let through some boring, extremely amateur singer, and some slutty belly dancers also with minimum talent (and no ab muscles) because the two male judges are pervs.
Actually, I guess this show is perfect for VFTW.
Good luck with it, but I cannot subject myself to further television toture.
Nathaniel could have sounded like Kermit the frog and get the votes.
With the Beiber hair and the goofy "Aw Shucks" smile he had the tweens locked up. Not to mention his awkward attempt at a stripper move where he rubbed his hand over his torso and teased the shirt in a move that is guaranteed to give the fat fraus an orgasm.
Lets face it the Airpocalypse Drummer only reminded the fraus of their beer gutted husbands (or X husbands as the case may be) and the other two looked like drag queens pretending to be typical unemployed sons who still live at their parents home in the basement. They were doomed.
