Kathy Griffin Calls Ayla Brown and Her Sister "Prostitutes"

Kathy Griffin went after Ayla Brown and her sister on her My Life on the D-List television show. Kathy called Ayla and Arianna Brown, daughters of Massachussets Senator Scott Brown, "prostitutes" on the show, which was then followed by a "legal disclaimer" that the girls aren't prostitutes. Kathy can usually be pretty funny, but Ayla's a friend of our site and the joke really didn't make any sense. So we're on the Brown family side here. Besides, there are so many other people who are actually prostitutes to make fun of! (Insert Paris Hilton joke here)

Ayla's a class act, and I'd bet money that her sister is as well.

I would actually have a modicum of respect for her if she didn't hide behind the so-called disclaimer. Come on, Kathy-- have the courage of your convictions. If you want to resort to the lowest common denominator like that instead of putting thought into your jokes, go ahead and do it... and be prepared to defend your dirtbag self.

Only slightly hypocritical for a site that spews negative comments on just about every contestant on Idol. 'Prostitute' is some pretty lax language compared to that used by VFTW.
