We made sure to let Nigel Lythgoe know that we are excited to have him back as the executive producer of American Idol. It was fun to try to fluster the show when he was on board, he was such a great foil for us. It's clear since the last 2 seasons sucked so bad, Nigel knows entertainment better than his replacements did. Since the 4 judge panel is already nixed in favor of a 3 judge panel, things are already looking up. It  looks like Nigel is looking forward to having us back as well. Game on!
