Ban This Song on American Idol: "I Don't Want To Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith

Few songs have been overdone on American Idol in recent years like Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." Despite the fact that Kara DioGuardi can't tell recent Aerosmith songs from early Aerosmith songs, we're sure even Dogface wants this one banned. A string of horrible performances from season 2's Josh Gracin, season 4's Lindsay Cardinale, season 6's Antonella Barba, season 7's David Cook, season 8's Allison Iraheta, and season 9's Aaron Kelly should be enough reason to retire the song. But it will get even worse if Steven Tyler becomes an Idol judge. Just as contestants constantly picked Journey songs to appeal to Randy, the Aerosmith catalog will be butchered like no other to appeal to Steven Tyler. And this song really was never any good to begin with. So let's all agree- no one will miss a thing if this song is never sung again on Idol.

VFTW's Lifeguard Location: Doing an Awkward Elbow Dance.

I had to sing this for a Valentine's Day thing at this camp I went to. After that, all I can say is...I HATE THIS SONG WITH THE POWER OF 1,000 SUNS!!1!!111!1!

I do love Aerosmith, but I hate this song. I only like their early 70's stuff, when they were on drugs. This song is so horrible, it makes me want to take drugs.
