The X Factor Gets it Right with Shirlena Johnson

The UK's X Factor premiered this week and it's already better than American Idol. First, the show is using some strange autotune technique to fix the contestants' auditions. Odd. Second, the show is letting people like Shirlena Johnson advance to the next round. Watch Shirlena audition and you'll fall in love with her just like we did. Can America's X Factor be as awesome as this with contestants like Shirlena and Jedward?

Oh man shes awesome. that 5 mins was more entertaining then a whole season of AI.

strangely she reminds me of a black version of Tatiana.I hope that Simon will be the one who has to mentor her.Clap i wish we could vote

AHHHH! YES! The lady is batshit crazy and I LOVE IT! Because of her, I "released" all the tension I had. I want her to go far just so I can see her go primal or chanting a kookabarra mating call.
