Kara DioGuardi Officially No Longer an Idol Judge

We've known it for a while, but now it's official. In a statement from the show, it was announced that Kara DioGuardi is now officially no longer an America Idol judge. On her way out, Kara said, "I felt like I won the lottery when I joined `American Idol' two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave `Idol,'" This translates to, "The show forced me to leave because I was terrible for their ratings." Hopefully the next cut will be eliminating Kara's songwriting "talents" from the winners' albums. We won't miss you one bit, Open Toes. Good riddance! Now let's hope her replacement doesn't suck even more than she did.

this is good news for everyone. haters will be happy to know she's not there. the ones who like her will be pleased to know she jumped out of a sinking ship. now, let's hope the dawg feels the need to pee at another tree.

Yeah, we knew this was coming for awhile. I noticed she said "Right now is probably the best time to get out." It seems to me she is saying AI is on the decline and within two years the show is going to be cancelled, so I better get out now because this show is going nowhere but down.

With Kara gone, I uess the debate will be "Who is her replacement?"
