2 previews from Crystal Bowersox's upcoming album leaked today (via Hitpredictor.com and MJ's Big Blog). The first is the Kara DioGuardi/Nickelback song Hold On. It sounds better with Crystal's voice than Kara's, but it's still banal. Get rid of it. Farmer's Daugher is actually pretty good, and you can tell Crystal actually enjoys singing the song and it means something. We'll see what the rest of the album sounds like.

ugh... they're trying to do too much with them!!! Crystal needs just like an acoustic guitar, maybe some percussion, but not the strings and stuff!!!! That single's not going to do anything, but I am excited to hear her album. Love her!

It sounds much better than Lee Dewyze from what I can hear. I don't think it will be succesful but hey at least she can say she tried to make a good record.

Hmmm...Hold On is decent, but way over-produced. Farmer's Daughter is definitely better. Not really a fan, but I agree that she needs less production...her voice and style are not suited to big sound songs. But, on the upside...this is 1000x better than the tripe we're hearing from Lee.

This. I've already predicted that Lee DeSnooze will have the lowest selling first album in AI history. We'll see if I'm right.

I hope Crystal sells enough albums so she can buy a new Couch for her crack-house there.

If the rest of the album is like HOLD ON, I'll pass. That sounds just like another interchangeable Nickelback piece of shit. But, if the rest of the album is like FARMER'S DAUGHTER, I'll buy it. That one has a nice Sugarland vibe to it, and it could cross over as a country hit.

So Crystal is going country... Good choice. After hearing Hold On sung by Kara I noticed that it could be arranged in several different ways. Crystal's version is far better cause she can sing with some feeling, unlike Kara.

Farmers Daughter is definitely the best of the 2 congs, and if it's the cover track (and 2nd single? I'd choose it for the 1st one instead of Hold On) then there are more tracks like that on the album, and it's going to be a decent country release.

All in all, Crystal's album is going to sell. Good luck to her.

"Hold On" is terrible. You can tell kara was involved in that record. She needs to stay away from this stuff as much as possible. The girl actually has talent - she needs to avoid those people.

"Farmer's Daughter" is actually pretty good, if you enjoy this kind of music. It suits her much more than the pseudo-anthems BMG pushes on their contestants.

Still, she's going to need a little luck to break either of those songs to the radio.

Someone really does need to sabotage Kara and send her far away so she cannot write any more "songs".

It figures that her and Chad Kroeger wrote it. I'm willing to bet anything that it was written for Nickelback but they realized it was too much like every other damn song they have, so they stored it away for some other unfortunate sap to record.

Crystal was pretty angry that they chose it over 'Farmer's Daughter' and you can see why. Poor Crystal. She's too talented for all of this crap, although she got herself into it. Hmm.

I'm sorry... was someone singing? Because all I heard was a crappy song and someone murmuring in the background. To think a TRUE ARTIST was on the same season and we end up with what Idol spit out is Un-Fucken-Believable!! shock
