We told you last week that it looks like American Idol 10 may let us vote online for the top 40-50 contestants. In case you missed it in all the Bristol/Wagner hysterics, here's the original post from last Tuesday:
Apparently, 242 people have received golden tickets to Hollywood. The Hollywood episodes are supposed to feature Q and A sessions and workshops so the viewers will get to know the contestants. 40-50 contestants will be featured prominently in the episodes, and viewers will be able to vote via online ballot for their favorites. The 12 highest vote getters will advance, with 3 more contestants advancing to the top 15 via a wildcard with Jimmy Iovine and the judges.
We received some more possible spoilers from our source we'd like to share.
The online voting will take place at AT&T's website. Auditions will take place for the first 6 episodes (California, Nashville, Milwaukee, New Jersey, Austin, New Orleans in that order). There will then be 5 Hollywood episodes, a live voting kick off episode that highlights the eligible contestants, a reveal episode to announce the top 12, and a wildcard episode to let 3 more people into the finals. The online voting may stay in place until the finals are down to 12.
Remember to take this all with a grain of salt. It's not confirmed. Though AI Now found the American Idol 10 contestants' Twitter page, and it links to online voting at ATT.com. Since our source mentioned this before that was found, it lends a little credibility.
A few quick morning updates: Idol may have phone voting for the top 15, they're deciding. If they do, there may be extension digits, so you dial any of the numbers and then press a button once you get through. There also isn't a set gender ratio for the top 12/15. The producers think they'll be able to get a good mix with the way the packages are edited and the wildcard.

I especially hope that the part about only six audition episodes is true. Same for the five Hollywood episodes.

If there is no gender ratio, then we know it will mostly be males put through. It will be like season 8 all over again-8 males and 5 females(2 who were put through due to wildcard).

We've come a long way from when Idol put RJ through on Season 1 solely to balance to gender ratio over...uh...every more qualified contestant in the wildcard round. So, 12 men, 3 women, and a sausage fest of a tour?

Maybe they will pimp the hell out of the girls instead of throwing them under the bus like the last 3 seasons? Or just maybe there will be limits on the voting...

It's too complicated. I don't want to think while I watch shows like this.

"The producers think they'll be able to get a good mix with the way the packages are edited and the wildcard." I reeeeally hope thier manipulation tactics don't work out for them. I mean, I need my ass, but I wouldn't be ashamed to laugh it off for such an event.

baby boy nursery bedding is the easiest choice for your specified needs. After all, bedding is more than beautiful fabric. It has to be functional, durable and grow with your infant into the toddler years. The good news is, manufacturers are getting all of these components into consideration and offer a good variety of themes, fabric options and color schemes. Just like baby boy bedding sets is unique. Some moms know precisely what colors they require and can distinguish the perfect baby boy bedding set instantly. Others look and search for that perfect option. No matter what type of mom you may be, there is definitely a selection out there that will make everyone happy - even daddy.
