Janell Wheeler from The Season Which Must Not Be Named of American Idol is now in the running for CMT's Country Strong competition. The winner gets a handful of prizes like performing on CMT and a meeting with a record exec. VFTW supports the Idol contestants who pursue music on their own without the Idol machine, so give Janell a little help and send some votes her way. Voting ends on December 17.

@vitirol I totally agree about country radio, however I've noticed that Janell was a country singer before her role on Idol and I'm glad she is staying true to that after Idol tried to 'POPify' her. @VotefortheWorst Nice post and wouldn't have known about the contest otherwise! TEAM JANELL :)
