I'm liking the song more now. Much better video than Lee's where he sings "I ain't got no car" and then jumps into his car.

Full disclosure. Felt a little tiny bit of moisture for this. Recognizable circumstances.

It is very much like Suzanne Vega's "Luka", in the tone of the piece. It should do loads better than Fug's single- but, Jesus, what couldn't?

Uh, this might be old news, but Crystal drops an F bomb in the first verse?! Is she the first idol contestant to do swear in a song?

Yes, idol is dead, VFTW victory, etc. But truth be told I appreciate this song. Yeah it's depressing and sentimental and stuff but it does what it's supposed to do pretty well. And the video articulates it nicely. Not a tard, just observing.

"The show is dead. Let's declare it." I wouldn't say that after Adam went gold and even with slipping ratings the show remains number 1. I think its a combination of her 1)Not getting promoted very well 2) Choosing a non-marketable song as the first single 3) Her music isn't marketable in the days of Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Gaga, etc. It would have been a huge hit in the days of Alanis, Sarah Mclachlan, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, etc. I also think Nigel isn't making an effort to promote them since he doesn't want to deal with this last season and wants to prove why the changes he is making are good.
