Thought he handled it pretty well, though. And I found the Gamboa guy just way more annoying than him anyway. Ashley was cool, too. Will miss her the most.

Are we sure that judges wildcards can't be used on these contestants? In other words, there can't be a deus ex machina in which the TPTB bring him back?

I agree, venona. This is almost too good to be true. I think I smell a rat. Is it possible that they only fill 20 spots with the "chair" episode then have some kind of sing-off or something for the last 4 spots? I wouldn't put it past the worms. Of course, Medina would no doubt be one of them after all the ZOMG outrage.

I had not realized what a fug Medouchedina was until he was sitting in "the chair". Glad he was executed, especially after that comment about his girlfriend's best day being Tyler's schloping on her face. Oh please, don't let him come back, just.no.

I loved how J-Lo's meltdown was about her, not him. She wasn't worried that he was sad, but that she hadn't found the best possible way of telling him he was out. Nice! She's finally starting to entertain a bit as a judge.

Dang, Medina was pimping his sob story until the end. Man, that was bad. It was like he was saying to the judges: "I want to remind you that if you cut me from the competition, you're really cutting my fiance and destroying her dream." Quite the turnoff.
