I Feel we need to inspire the people of the great state of Alabama to rise up and vote like this is the second coming of Who.
This ought to do it

No one has shirtless photos of dear rosey Paul?
Gee, I wonder if he has a tattoo of a rose engraved on his ass.....
That would get all the florists, and chicks to vote for him.

Maybe Dancing Woody can don a Bear Bryant Hat and that would surely get out the the vote of the chain smokers out of their trailer parks to the nearest pay phone at the local Montgomery 7-11.. Roll Paul!

As you can tell by my username, I live in the grand state of Alabama. One thing to consider - people from Huntsville like to separate themselves from the rest of the state. It's the home of Werner von Braun and NASA, so they're "better" than the rest of the state(I know, used to live there).
As far as Hicks/Ruben/Bice, they were all from the Birmingham area, and got rabid support around here(I live in Birmingham now). Suffice to say, Huntsville's not rabid about Birmingham, and vice versa.
I have a lot of HSV friends that vote for Paul, so I think he's getting the support already from the only place in Alabama that cares.
Just some local perspective for you.

Something else to consider...he's an Auburn guy, and there is a real heated rivalry between University of Alabama and Auburn University fans. And since Auburn might end up forfeiting their national championship (and lose a couple of "sacred" oak trees that a rabid Bammer poisoned), getting themselves an American Idol just might bring out the votes.

This may be more to Paul liking since he attended Auburn.

I am not sure if Alabama is enough. I think VFTW needs to shoot for the cougar/Walmart vote once again. Why not circulate a rumor that Paul was devastated by the recent death of his beloved 46 year old girl friend and soulmate who also hailed from the heart of dixie; sadly, she died during gastric bypass surgery. He chose not to speak of this during the competition as he did not wish to exploit her memory ala' Danny Gokey and Chris Medina. Besides, it is still too painful of a topic for Paul to make public now and he does not want to win based on his personal tragedy and heart wrenching loss.
