Hardly likely. Gregg and Duane (RIP) Allman are from Jacksonville and their band has always been based in the South, while the Used are from Orem, Utah. I remember reading somewhere, though, that Quinn and Gregg/Duane are distantly related, though I doubt it...
Anyway, congratulations! Great to hear this about my very first personal VFTW pick (started visiting the site in Season 8), a real VFTW legend who did us Worsters proud back in '09. CAW! CAW!
