Jennifer Lopez Will Perform on American Idol This Week

AI Now is reporting that Jennifer Lopez will tape a performance on Wednesday that will air on this Thursday's results show. "On the Floor" is a semi-fun song, but it'll be more interesting to watch and see if Jennifer is lip syncing or not. She's not a terrible judge, but even Paul McDonald can sing better than her, so it'll be interesting to see how the performance goes.

Can't say I'm surprised. It was only a matter of time before we had to experienced J-Low's performance. However, I thought she would have waited until the finale. I guess it's a good thing that we get it over with and see it now, than agonizingly waiting for another month or so. Kind of like pulling a bandaid off really fast to hopefully lessen the pain.

She is singing a duet but not with Iggy Pop (which would be awesome to watch) but with some equally desparate for publicity (and there for totally without street cred) rapper!


Like Katy Perry it is being taped and will be presented as if it si live when in fact it is on tape - the the need to lip sync is a moot point as it will be computer processed sound.
