Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina's Finale Songs are Confirmed

Taste of Country has the names of Scotty and Lauren's new singles that they will perform on Tuesday night. Scotty's is called "Love You This Big" and Lauren's is called "Like My Mother Does." Both sound like boring, lame country ballads. MJ's Big Blog found out that Lauren's song is a reject from Kristy Lee Cook's failed country album. Best part of that one- we get plenty of shots of Lauren's fantastically freaky mom in the audience during the performance!

MJ's also found out that Scotty will have a song picked for him by George Strait and Lauren will have a song picked for her by Carrie Underwood.

Can we just fast forward over Tuesday's obvious snoozefest and get back to seeing Paul, Naima, Casey, Haley, and the gang being totally awesome on Wednesday's finale?

DWTS has said they are having a surprise guest during their live finale. Oh. please let it be Haley and Casey! Please, please, please!

But I like Lauren's selection - I ate the whole buffet, just like my mother.

LEt's take this finale to Ebenezer baptist!!!! One last plead to not vote at all and embarass the show with lowest Vote Total/ratings in history of finale!!! That would be a true VFTW victory!!!!

They are predicting a severe weather outbreak here on Wednesday. I am hoping it happens so I will not have to see the finale. Fox 13 better go into weather disaster mode!

You got to be kidding me. Lauren sings a song from failed AI contestant Kristy Lee Cook. That makes a lot of sense. You would think they would get someone who is writing big hits for country music acts to give them each a song. I guess the reason is why waste them on these two. Hit songs are too valuable to give to mediocre artists to sing. This truly is a VFTW night. By the way Scotty is a 7-1 favorite on the wagering sites to win it all. That means for unitiated that you have put up $7 to win $1.
