I see this going very far. Like until the end of the month and everyone realizes they voted Howdy Doody the winner and a blob of anthropomorphic jelly as the runner-up and can't stand to listen to their music anymore. (Not that it looks like that many people were able to stomach their crap to begin with.  )

Well, it's simply the novelty of them just being on TV. Scotty may just have a chance at doing well in the country area, because he really does have a good country voice. However, if he does not, it'll be because he's too young to sing about being a drunk in bars, or all the trashy whores he likes to bang. CF will simply fade into oblivion.

Does anyone even com to this site anymore? LoL. Anyways, just glad to see you guys are still at it. Although Scotty is going to do great thing just you wait and see!!! Congratulations on a great victory. I think you guys were secretly going for Scotty the whole time *Tee hee*. Just wanted to add that Lauren fans can suck it!!! Woot!!! I just saw Scotty in North Carolina a week ago and it was soooo awesome! I love American Idol and I will definitely be back here to comment on my faves!

Mercury Nashville has officially signed Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. Wonder who's going to get fired over that one. Scotty's single does seem to have debuted well on country radio at first glance, breaking the record for "highest debut by a new artist." But if you look into it, the last person to break the record was Nashville Star season 2 winner Brad Cotter. And what happened to him? Has anyone even heard of him? We do hope for hilarity's sake that Scotty gets a small career out of this that will be fun to track. The hicks seem to be eating the Scotty music up so far.
