She was a plant. She had to be. It's odd that Interscope didn't take the hint and back off a bit... but then again, it wouldn't be the first time that an entertainment company thought it knew what the American public wanted better than we did...

My opinion is that, since next year is a girl's year!!!!!1111!!, they want a girl out there urging other girls to audition. They couldn't get the female second place finisher to do the spot because she is illiterate and useless.

I had to laugh at the "From Humble Beginnings" line. Wouldn't have "Pimped From Day One" been a more accurate thing to say?

Quote "Lady WahWah": She'd want to swallow too honey! At 100,000 she'd better! Really, don't they realize that by pushing this girl they're killing what little cred this show has left? Oh well, the train keeps rolling - even if it's been off the tracks for years.

And, I clearly remember Jimmy Iovine smiling when she was eliminated..SO, he could have cared LESS where she finished. He was ALWAYS going to pimp her out by far the most of anyone this year..That's just a clue, I think as to the big picture

I think its because she was the only semi-"hot" girl this year and they wanted a girl to win. Its sad that this ho is the best they could get. Her single flopped on iTunes and I doubt they will even allow her to release a full album. Fail...

Still think Haley was hotter, if only because she had an actual personality.
