As you can see from the article below this one, Nigel Lythgoe has been getting more heat for forcing gay American Idol contestants to stay in the closet and pretend they're straight, like Adam Lambert. For those wondering why this is such a touchy subject for Nigel, perhaps all your questions will be answered after watching this Donna Summer video featuring a tranny-tastic male dancer that looks an awful lot like a young Nigel to me. Uncle Nigel, thou protesteth too much!

Do you think it's Nigel or just some random tranny? Either way, it's time for Nigel and Fox to get with it and let people be.

Nigel did a lot of really gay dance jobs when he was younger. He did choreograph the awful musical The Apple. He also choreographed for Shirley Bassey and The Muppets. There were a bunch of videos that got uploaded to YouTube of him dancing when SYTYCD started but they're long gone now.


I think that's him. He had that haircut in another TV dance performance from around that time. Can anyone find the video of him dancing with the big stick wrapped in ribbon?

I know a few straight male dancers and they are uber homophobes. They aren't against gays, they are more defensive of being straight. Especially the male ballerinas (what do you call a male ballerina?). I think that's the case with Nigel.


By the dancing, if it is him, I think Nigel shouldn't judge ANYONE anymore after seeing this. Boy, they all look like an elephants plodding around the stage. What horrible dancing and choreography.
