Lee DeWyze is Dropped by RCA Records

In a move that everyone saw coming even before the season 9 Idol winner was crowned, RCA Records has decided to drop Lee DeWyze. We're taking bets on how long it takes him to go back to working in the paint store.

So the high point of the out come of all of season 9 was Crystal doing a diabetes commercial with BB King. The telling tale about all this is it took me about 45 seconds to remember who won last year.

Kind of hard for me to bust on him, since he seemed like a good guy, but this is hardly a surprise. At least he made a nice chunk of money and got to tour a bit.


On a related note, I'm still hearing Bowersox on the radio now and then. Even bought her CD.


And yeah -- I am looking forward to next season.
