The Idol season 10 contestants all seem to be getting record deals like no other season before (except maybe season 5). So hey, putting entertaining and fun people on the show really does pay off, huh? VFTW favorite Naima Adedapo is the latest to get a record deal. She's been signed to Peak Records and will have a 3 song EP produced by Warryn Campbell, who has produced for Kanye West and Trey Songz. Not too shabby. Only 2 words seem appropriate for this announcment: BOOM FIRE!

I remember that tribal dance, jungle dance, or whatever it should be called. It was different.

I'm really surprised that she scored a record deal. Best of luck Naima.

Good for her, say whatever you want about her but nobody can find her boring, which is more than we can say for the past couple of AI winners.

Wow, why wasn't I told about this performance?

Agree. She's definitely the most unique Top 12 we've seen on this shitfest. Makes her own stage cosumes and clothes, does traditional dancing... And she seemed like a fun person in general.

Good luck, Naima!Clap

You know she's fun and one of the few alums we actually support. Its a ruff business, so good luck to her.

The other thing I liked about her was that her sob story was just "I work hard as a janitor to make ends meet". No shame in that.

I genuinely liked Naima. I thought her and Paul were the only ones who had a style that stood out and had some kind of chance at mainstream success.

Go Naima!
