Phil ought to sing "I want to break free" as his Queen pick. It's well within his range, so he should be able to nail it, and have the judges gush over his clever song choice, while still making it his own - because he's an artist, and he knows what kind of an artist he wants to be.

Then, for the "no chump love" thing, and to show that he wants it and is totally in it to win it, he should sing "This town ain't big enough for the both of us". Thereby showing everyone that he ain't gonna leave.

Does this mean Elise can sing Somebody To Love again? Or wait... Whole Lotta Queen? Or... no, it was, um... Led Queenlin. Yeah, something like that. Well Steven Tyler ought to remember, he was there.

Queen was awesome. Freddy was awesome. None of these 6 could possibly ever approach what he was able to do just singing in the bath (ftr, Crazy Little Thing Called Love...)

However: Let's give this a whirl.

Elise: Please, please, PLEASE don't try Somebody to Love. Personally I'd rather hear Get Down, Make Love.

Jessica: Please, please, PLEASE try Somebody to Love.

Skylar: I'm so sorry, girl... Um... maybe try... Don't Try Suicide, that needs fiddles and a country twang!

PP: We are the Champions. That'll really be a VFTW win!

Colton... oops, sorry

Joshua: Who Wants To Live Forever... except there aren't really enough vocals in there... on second thought, BECAUSE there aren't really enough vocals in there.

Hollie: Save Me.

As for the whatever you want song, I can only hear PP singing With a Little Help From My Friends. NOT the Beatles version.

Ooh, this is fun. Queen really was so good. I imagine songs will basically be assigned, but what do I know.

If I had to bet money I'd guess Phillip will sing Another One Bites the Dust. Or, I Want To Break Free (hey, think about it. It could happen...)

I'm sorry to say it but I expect Josh will sing We Are The Champions. I hope I'm wrong, but it would go with his start soft and end screeching thing. Or, Somebody To Love.

Jessica will get the one of those that Joshua doesn't sing. I love that her mission is now to sing more age-appropriate songs. Bicycle? She could probably do a great job of that, actually. OK, Jessica's singing Bicycle. [Edit: just listened to Bicycle Race, and no way is it age-appropriate. Oops..]

Skylar I imagine will do Crazy Little Thing Called Love. They won't let her do Fat Bottomed Girls, which is a shame because it would be super-spectacular and awesome and fun as hell. (I mean, come on. "Git on yer bahks 'n' rahd!" Can she maybe? is it possible they'd let her? Oh please oh please..)

Hollie is kind of screwed. If I were her, I'd sing Love of My Life, and cry real tears. That'll get'em. Or, Bicycle. Or, Under Pressure. Why not? Someone should.

Elise can do whatever she wants. She'll be eliminated soon anyway and she's on for the tour or whatever, so I just think she should pick something interesting that sounds good.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually sad Colton won't be there to sing Flash Gordon ("...Savior of the Universe" ), with full fog, lasers and a costume that would put the last one to shame. That would seriously rule.

I've always been fond of Play the Game actually, but I don't feel like anyone wanting to "have a moment" will bother to sing it. Maybe Elise, although if I were her I'd go for something more fun and spectacular or else futuristic or operatic [or Bicycle]. Come to think of it, Elise's pick is the only one I'm actually curious about now. Don't disappoint, Elise...

Even though it'll be Wednesday, someone's just gotta sing Friday.

Skylar should sing "Me and Bobby McGee." She has a perfect Janis Joplin kind of voice for it, and she could really blast it out of there. The judges would be so excited, Steven Tyler might actually say something coherent, Randy Jackson would keep saying, dawg, dawg, dawg!

And J Lo Class would snort down her large nostrils and say 'you look pretty tonight!'

And Elise should pick a song that really lets her blast it out, since she probably will get voted off this week. (I still say she should join up with the Jersey Shore gang, where she could beat up the girls, especially Snooki, and also beat up at least one of the steroid pumped boys, probably the situation.)

Hollie will hang on for one more week. And the adult film industry reps will be calling her.

I agree. I think Hollie should. Something about her accent and pale skin makes me think she could be a Nordic synthpop icon, if she would only tone down that personality, or at least replace it with something more cold and expressionless. (I'm kind of not totally joking)

Yeah, she really needs to stop pouting about her gutter status already and embrace it while she can, like Heejun did, at least until he didn't (yeah, forgot about him, didn't you? He knew how to roll, for a while anyway)

Fat Bottomed Girls is a good choice for Phil, but I like Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy. There's a nifty guitar part in that one.
