Jennifer Lopez is Out as a Judge on American Idol As Well

Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez is no longer an American Idol judge. Jennifer confirmed the news on Ryan Seacrest's radio talk show. In our opinion, Jennifer didn't really add much to the show, but at least she wasn't as worthless and overhyped as Steven Tyler. Jennifer follows Steven out the door, leaving only Randy Jackson's status unknown. We're figuring he won't be judging next year either. Rumors have spread that Randy will step down from the judging panel and be a mentor.

Rumored replacements for the judging panel include Mariah Carey, Fergie, and Adam Lambert.

The show has run it's course. They need to end it OR Nigel and the rest of the producers should just embrace the show's VFTW potential.

I think they should quit bringing out celebrities to judge this show if it's supposed to be about the contestants. And since I'm clearly living in a child-like fantasy I'm going to go write my Christmas list for Santa now.
