I'm confused. Isn't that Adam arriving in the last picture? Maybe not- too bad for Adam- last chance for him to have a career of any kind, even as a judge- I guess there's always acid dropping at the Burning Man Festival for him every year,

3 of the panel are from the inside-circle of specific labels, investors and power-brokers in a certain area of the industry - which includes Nigel, Jackson, Iovine, Seacrest and some others in the back room.
They only went outside the fold for Urban, and are not giving him near the contract of Carey or Minaj.
The whole speculation over looking for judges was mostly smoke & mirrors, as they inked the ones that will make the inside combine the most money from the extra exposure and potential sales from it.

Keith Urban is probably the only legit judge. Randy will offer nothing more than "dawg/hot one/in it to win it" and Mariah and Nicki will be too busy trying to out-autotune/out-sample/out-dress-and-dance-like-a-whore each other to concentrate on the contestants.

The Cows and Fraus have been losing their shit on Twitter and elsewhere today. They were so delusional holding out hope Adam made the panel. I think Idol had no intention of ever seriously considering his ass, and this was his last shot to hang onto some semblance of a career. He was dissed and dismissed, like a little bitch  Countdown to the inevitable shitcan from RCA in 5, 4, 3...

The round where the judges actually see you started today so Nigel can no longer hold onto the world's worst kept secret: Your judging panel for next season is Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj (next to a midget Chris Sligh), Keith Urban (appropriately next to 2 fraus) and Randy Jackson. There is some VFTW potential here as Mariah and Nicki haven't even started working together and already hate each other's guts. Nicki is completely nuts and unpredictable, and that's nothing compared to Mariah. Keith Urban will be lucky to get a word in between these two. Meanwhile, the world would be a much better place if Randy never got in a word at all.
