Here's what you need to understand. We DON'T give a crap about that train wreck of a show. We DO give a crap about this site! As long as the show's on, we NEED to come here for your recaps & comments. It's a community that none of us want to move away from.

And something YOU need to understand, DialinDave. A website like this takes time and money to run, and its very likely that the creator no longer feels that AI is worth the time nor money to run this site, hence its death. Go into General Chat and take a look at the "Should we start a new website" thread.
I think AI in its current form ran its course a long time ago, but I think the concept will morph into a different show with a different format. There will always be crapfests to make fun of.

This site will go out on top. I'm sure AI won't get the plug pulled on it until it's getting < 10 million viewers and < a 3.0 in the demo ratings. That's when Fox will probably decide the show isn't making much money for them.

To me, Idol became unwatchable when episodes started taking 1.5 to 2 hours to fit in 10 singers. WTF? We don't want to see Ryan wasting gargantuan amounts of time with pointless chitchat with the judges or contestants. We don't want commercial breaks that are longer than the aired segments. And the episodes would continue to be 1.5 or 2 hours even when it got down to final 4, 3, and 2. Remember back in seasons 1 through 5 when they could fit 12 singers in ONE hour? And when it got down to the final 3, each person would sing 3 songs, and all 9 songs would FIT IN AN HOUR?
Not to mention that on the whole the performances got more boring as seasons went on. So in the end we got 2-hour episodes filled with unbelievably boring shit, as opposed to 1-hour episodes that were entertaining.
Sorry for the old man rant.

LOl, VFTW is calling it in, because you have too. This site should have died way back. How can you call yourself VFTW when you keep backing Idols who go on to sell platinum and more?
And it's obvious you don't have any audience from The Voice, X-Factor either.
