I'm going to be hated for this, but I think that Carly is a really good singer. Yes she had a previous record deal, but so did half of the other contestants.

Syesha was good at first, but she is a bit of a weak link.

You won't be hated because she IS a really good singer compared to her fellow planted competition (I have her 6th best). As Queen of the Plants, she's merely "good" compared to the rest of industry, and "good" isn't good enough to buy a CD or see in concert. Nothing less than "excellent" should suffice.

I'm loving the poster which is a takeoff on the movie "Clueless." The truly clueless one is Simon Cowell. Regardless of how bad the show gets, he never fails to entertain me with his complete lack of knowledge of American idioms and slang, I mean stuff we've known since the 3rd grade. Priceless.
