The Whisky is huge! Mario Maglieri introducing her is MEGA HUGE!! There isn't a band in the world that wouldn't give their souls for that introduction! That's a fact!!

If Mario is introducing her there will no doubt be industry people there checking out "Chile"!!

What is amazing about her coming out on The Whisky stage and introduced by the man who owns the place is how she must be embraced by the rockers who matter. Because Mario matters in rock n roll! His stamp of approval says she matters!!.... BIG TIME!!

I will be there with bells on! Hell I'll buy the first ticket and send it to Simon with a note... "Oh Simon... she sold a ticket to a show....THE FUCKEN WHISKY"!!!!

That's awesome! If I lived in LA I'd be there in a heartbeat. But with the success she's gotten so far, it's only a matter of time before she comes tromping through my neck of the woods, and I'll be the first in line for tickets when she does!

Haven't watched the Ellen clip yet, I'll wait to watch it later on my DVR...but WOO! The Whiskey! That's some awesome shit right there! Do you young whippersnappers understand the significance of that? ;-P I predict Amanda will be the most successful of all the idols, and I'll say, oh, 3 years from now, no one will even remember she was on that crappyass show.

But damn, Chile...I hope the end of May is enough time for me to save up for the plane ticket, hotel, car, show ticket....yikes =8-O

Damn, I just gotta say how smart this girl is. On Tuesday night, Simon said to Kristy Lee that her song choice was "very clever, harumph, harumph" or whatever his uptight British ass said, and it did end up buying her one more week. But Amanda has played every card right since we've first seen her. She's sticking to her guns, staying confident while remaining very humble, and just chalking up more and more credibility every day. And she's doing it all with a calculated shrug, as if to say, "Like I give a shit what you think. I am what I am and this is what I'm gonna do. Like it or don't, but I'm staying right here." And that is the essence of rock 'n' roll right there.

And KKKristy's the clever one, Simon? Right. Let's see which one still has a career a few weeks from now.

I think very highly of Chile.Her attitude, her singing, her style...everything. She is definitely one of my favorites, and my favorites are Janis, Doors, Beatles, etc...

And this video is great. I love Ellen, and I love Amanda. Great performance too, and she didn't forget about us. She is still spoiling us with "chile".

Lots of A&;R peeps will be at the Whiskey when she performs, and you know it chile. The show is so boring without her (and Danny ish) that I can't watch, just Tivo it and go through the 1 1/2 hour technicolour yawn fest in about 20 minutes.
