I ran a marathon yesterday, but this is so awesome I made the trek upstairs to get my wallet, then back down to make my pledge. I am so glad to sponsor this, rather than the FOX and Exxon corporate marketing squad.

Dave - for motivation, maybe you could put pictures of the plants on the soles of your shoes. Just be careful to not "accidentally" step in doggy-splat.

This is a Great Idea! Kudos to the ones who came up with it and those who are contributing. Now I challenge each one of you to go beyond this single donation and make a personal difference in your lives... If you smoke - QUIT!, watch your diet and don't eat crap!, drink only enough to tolerate AI (and don't drive home after its over)!, wear sunscreen and tear up your tanning salon membership! And most important, DON'T LISTEN TO MALIGNANT MUSIC!

Wow!!! Thank you so much to Dave for setting up this link to the American Cancer Society's relay web page and a huge thank you to everyone that has donated to our team so far!!! In two days you have helped us demolish our fund raising goal. I can't wait to see what is to come! =D

Thanks for supporting us in the fight against cancer. Your donations are helping fund research that will save lives!

Dave, your website is dominated or loved by people who love to hate. I would be surprised you can garner any decent amount in donations because as I know it, donations are made by people who love to love.

I love to love this website. I love to love my family, which has been affected by cancer. I even love to love people in general, and believe, despite all the bad news that is so prevalent, that there is still so much good in the world.

I love to make fun of (but not hate, because it's too entertaining,) a silly show that takes itself way too seriously.

Dave's currently at $965, and I see the goal has been upped to $2000. Go Dave!

We're "powdered milk" poor at the moment, but as soon as my hubby pulls in a paycheck we'll be sure to donate.

I'm sad I won't be able to attend my school's RFL this year, as being 8 1/2 months preggo probably isn't the best time for me to be up walking a track, but I'm glad there's somewhere I can go to donate. My grandfather died of cancer, and my mother is a 5 year survivor this year, and this is really important to me.

I think it's great that your using the popularity of the site to help those in need. Great job Dave, sad to say I won't be donating because I live all the way in the Philippines and I don't have a credit card. :(
