First off I would like to PROUDLY say that I am a DAUGHTRY fan!!!! I think that Chris and the guys of DAUGHTRY have brought something back to the music world that has been gone for a LONG TIME. Also look at all the things that they are involved with, like the ONE.org campain for starters!!!

I know that there are many of you out there that dont like Chris or the band for your own reasons and that is your right. BUT dont sit there and make speculations and assume that they have done these things UNLESS you know Chris, the guys of DAUGHTRY, Hell even Nickelback PERSONALLY. I know that with as much as they are in the public eye, there is no way that this is possible!! I mean if he "ripped off" Nickelback then why in the hell would they ASK DAUGHTRY to go on tour with them, with talks of taking DAUGHTRY on another tour with them??

As to whoever made the comment about being able to use a portion of a song, THAT IS A FACT!! I represent an artist that has had to do that to HIS OWN music for reasons that are none of anyones business, The ONLY reason that I bring it up is to let you know the FACT. You are LEGALLY able to use a song as long as you change 25% of it. NOW I am in NO WAY saying that I believe that DAUGHTRY has done this, I KNOW THAT THEY DIDN'T!!

They guys in the band are a group of EXTREAMLY TALENTED people. They probably have more creativity in their pinky than most of us have in our WHOLE BODIES!!! I know that they have written and worked with some AMAZING artists and I know that if they thought for a second that DAUGHTRY was a "fraud" they would NEVER even consider working with them. I always have and ALWAYS will stand by the guys of DAUGHTRY. They are worth any amount of jealousy that you send their way. It only makes them STRONGER musically and personally!!

I know that you all think that I am just saying all of this because I am a "fan" but that is NOT the case. I just know that there are ALOT of musicians out there that get assumptions brought on them because of their position in the public eye and I dont think that is a fair representation of them. Being in the music biz I know that it is really tough to make it and once you do it is even more of a struggle to stay there!! So just do us all a favor, you can have your opinions but PLEASE don't state them as if they are a "fact" unless you are 100% that they ARE!!
