Thanks be to the Lord that I still have the notoriously glitchy DishNetwork PVR501 receiver that managed to lose an hour of Idol Gives Head. Whew! That was close. I almost had to sit through the whole thing because my significant other wanted me to watch it with her.

He just kind of dangled a carrot of hope in front of Michael. He said Syesha and Carly were safe. Then, dramatic pause. Then he said "last year during Idol Gives Back, we didn't eliminate anyone." Longer dramatic pause as Michael stands there wincing. Then Seacrest says, "But tonight we're saying goodbye to Michael Johns."

Idol Gives Back may not be something you are wanting to help out with, but as you can see there are millions of people who care what goes on in this world and don't need people like you to joke about it!
