You know I gotta stand by my man here. I think his original quote was that AI didn't want "the <i>controversy</i> of a Sanjaya." I've never read anything that has Michael calling Sanny boring or anything else.

What was up with the Blair Witch camera angles? Was she trying to hide the camera from him?

So he does basically say that Sanjaya is a "joker" and a "laughing stock."

I don't understand why people here get so uptight about that kind of thing. Isn't Sanjaya so beloved by this website because he was a bad singer and a laughing stock?

That's what I tried to say the other day here. Sanjaya was a laughing stock and he was put on the show to get ratings, and that is why he's the patron saint of VFTW. Actually, Michael is basically outing the show for having a reputation for not ALWAYS being a singing competition - which it ALWAYS claims to be. So, doesn't Mikey get a point for that? No? Still a douche? Ah well. If he's really a douche, I'm running to the drugstore right now.
