Cunty starred as little Cosette in the travelling production of Les Mis. Darn shame she didn't lie about this more, but she was a seasoned professional performer PRIOR to her failed record deal.

Yeah - I'm an opera nerd - even had voice lessons and sang 3 seasons with the symphony. The only musical theater I can stomach is Sondheim - at least it is interesting musically; Andrew Lloyd Webber is big, predictable, blown-up, over-miked - has appeal if you like spectacle, but not musically engaging to me. I think tonight proved it makes really awful televison too.

David archuleta is an idiot. Did he seriously think he could stand a chance compared to Sarah or Emmy? Come on! There are some people you just don't compete with! Not only did he overmelismafy if, but he messed up the words too. (Wow, big suprise there!) And i should know. I know the words to pretty much the whole musical cuz i've seen the show twice and the movie 57 times. (What? It's a good movie!) I hoped and prayed and begged that no one would touch Phantom, but no! How ironic, my least favorite and favorite sang songs from POTO. (Cook was actually not all that bad, but still, it paled in comparison to Butler and Crawford.0

I don't think its in the ALW songbook, but I think that Carly should be singing "It Sucks to Be Me" from Avenue Q. That's fitting right?
