Damn! It's funny how people have no life. Watching american idol is painful and dreadful enough but being able to watch it is very brave for a guy that probably sits up watching will and grace while jacking off. Hey everyone! I get a kick out of what you do with your site, but it's frankly pretty pathetic. I can't believe you all go to such trouble to make fools of yourselves. I don't really care that you do what you do, but it's frankly a waste of your time. Please do something more productive...like use the money your spend trashing others and give it to charity or something. What you do is a disgrace to America...why are we like this? If you don't like it or don't like what the producers or judges or directors have to say then turn the channel. In this day and age when people are so mean to other people just because, you should be ashamed of yourselves for continuing in that spirit. I sat a moment at my computer to come up with the words to express my gratitude for this website of yours, just to find the right words. My desire is to express my love for music; my ability to love the talent of others, and even 'air guitar' or mimic said talents through emulation and fantasy; a perfect example would be me emulating Robert Plant singing, or Frank Sinatra, or my ultimate dream, to have the talent of the troubled W.A. Mozart, demanding his perfection and, in a certain focused madness, relentlessly correcting the human mistakes of his performers, without my being the least bit jealous towards the achievements of said talents, which is something you folks at VFTW are falsely accused of on a regular basis! American Idol epitomizes the sickness that occurs within the concept of MOB RULE. I am sorry to say the majority does NOT know good music when they hear it they are too damned IGNORANT. Tone deaf and blind to pure, genuine talent they are, with no idea of music that will stand the test of time, they(the masses) surrender themselves to pretty faces(which will soon be worm food, as we all will be) and the shallow appeal of the immediate gratification of what they like AT THE MOMENT. American Idol represents why America must maintain its status as a republic(which it is rapidly losing even to the point of irreparability), and never a democracy. As American Idol maintains/gains in ratings, so will the continuing need for groups such as The Who, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, and so many others to step back in to the spotlight and try to revive and maintain true talent in music; even just to try and preserve the basic concept of such. True talent and personal expression will ever be in jeopardy as long as American Idol is a television show that is actually LIKED. To those who are American Idol fans, I say only this-- Go yet AGAIN through your local McDonald's drive-thru, order your fat laden sugary SHIT, go home, turn on your TV, tune in to the latest TRIPE, eat it up like your Big Mac and fries, and leave critiquing what music shall define the latest generation and culture to those who have the critical and objective talents to be QUALIFIED to do so, and those musicians who can express their great talents WITHOUT YOUR IGNORANT MEANINGLESS PATHETIC DAMAGING "GOING NOWHERE" APPROVAL!!!
