You do understand that the judges do not determine the outcome of the show, right? They are merely figureheads that give criticism or compliments and possibly sway the people who call in. That's not to say that the people who call in determine the outcome either, simply that you are giving the judges more credit than they deserve.

If you guys REALLY knew the show, you would realize that the judges watch the dress rehearsal 2 hours before the live show. Therefore, they probably write down their comments at that time. Paula was just simply reading her other comment too early. You are really making a big deal out of nothing.

I agree with rhoduz. The problem is that Fox could have avoided a shit storm of controversy by being a little more transparent about the process. Hey Fox, if you're reading this post, this is what your official statement should have been: "Due to the time restraints of the live show, the judges will often sit in at the rehearsals and take notes in advance. By doing so, they can then enjoy the live performances more and offer critiques that focus more on stage presence than musical skill." Too bad Fox. You already admitted the "changes" to the selection criteria in order to get around the whole plant fiasco. This one was a no-brainer. Kind of like Paula.

You have really got to be freakin kidding – a big deal out of nothing! I am serious – ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING? Paula is so drunk, stoned and/or stupid that she would just blindly read notes from something that occurred hours before and probably doesn’t even represent what is actually occurring in from of her drug and alcohol hazed eyes! This is definitely a big deal. That pathetic drunken whore should be canned. Unfortunately we all do know the show. To get ratings they allow a washed up, drugged out bitch like Paula on the show in hopes that she does say something stupid and they can get some extra points on there ratings that are going in the toilet. Paula is like the village idiot.

David Archuleta had one of his worst nights singing. Especially "America". When all 3 judges praised him for that song, I was asking if I was the only person who thought that song was pure crap! Wrong voice for a GREAT song! David Cook would have been BRILLIANT for that song because of his strong voice, but knowing AI, David Archuleta probably was given first dibs on his song choices. Whatever. As for Paula, I honestly don't know what to think of that. Maybe she needed to write her reviews down because of mess of a schedule AI tried to pull Tuesday night, so she wouldn't forget. But it doesn't explain how she basically said the same thing to Jason after he REALLY sang his second song. OR this may be another sign that the credibility of American Idol is unraveling faster than what most people want to admit. The truth is coming out and people are NOT happy, especially the Creater of AI and the Execs. LOL! Don't ya just love it? If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's a duck.
