My god, what the hell were they all thinking back then? I don't understand ANYTHING of what I saw...honestly, it was like watching alien life forms... Thank god Nasty Nigel wasn't in anything skin tight. I would have lost my breakfast. And last night's dinner.

Well, that was really a big piece of shit on a stick. The only thing that would have redeemed that crap-fest would be if every time he spun around with that stick, he caught a dancer in the back of the head, until eventually he was the only one left standing. No wonder we get "Treated" to those awful sing-alongs. If that's what the Idols tour is like, I'm glad I've never wasted my money on it. . . .

A little pitchy and I wondered, at times, whether you were a male or female. The dancing was so-so (a little queer for me). I don't know Dog; it was just ok for me...

What. The. Hell? Seriously, what the hell was that show? Was it something popular in the UK or was that an American show? I am so utterly confused by what I just watched. PS The second is the worst, you have to watch it.

Okay, so the first video was like a Lawrence Welk reinterpretation Jesus Christ Superstar. Really makes me wonder why this group of kids is called the "Young Generation." This looks like something my grandma would have watched. And even she would have said it sucked. The second video, while very dated today, at least demonstrates something that young Brits were actually into in the early 60's. It's a pretty good representation of the mod style, like what you see in the beginning of the first Austin Powers movie. Still, I'd rather drink a cup of shit coffee than watch that whole video. What's also interesting, though, is that Lythgoe didn't start working with this dance troupe until 1969, so even then, he was out of touch with what was current. No wonder Idol is so stuck in the past.
